ANNOUNCING COMPETITION SOCCER WITH AYSO's XFC PROGRAM
You heard that right!
AYSO now has a COMPETITION or "club" program to go with its World Renowned recreation program. For AYSO Section 9 here in Utah, the program is currently called XFC. XFC teams will participate with other Utah Youth Soccer Association clubs like Sparta United, Blue Knights, and Murray Max. Teams will start play in the Fall of 2015.
AYSO's XFC program will cost considerably LESS than other "club" programs. However, because of AYSO's accredited coaching program through the NCACE, players will continue to learn, grow, and ENJOY the game while competing against other clubs. XFC teams will adhere to AYSO's SIX Philosophies, including EVERYONE PLAYS. All players will play AT LEAST half of every game.
To setup teams for the XFC program, we have setup the following TRYOUT dates:

2015 Summer Select Tournaments!
What is Summer Select?
Similar to baseball, AYSO has "all star" teams that compete every summer in 4 or 5 tournaments. We call the "all star" teams our "Summer Select" teams because we actually hold try outs. Players who make the team will have the opportunity to play in our AYSO sanctioned tournaments. Summer Select teams are chosen for the U10 through the U19 divisions. Here's the tournaments and dates for this summer season:
1. Cottonwood Invitational (Cottonwood Heights) - June 11-13
2. Golden Spike Classic (Brigham City) - June 18-20
3. Syracuse Stampede (Syracuse) - June 24-27
4. Roy Days (Roy) - July 15-18
5. High Valley (Liberty/Eden/Huntsville) - July 22-25
There is an extra cost for Summer Select Teams. It usually runs around $200 (including a new uniform) if all 5 tournaments are played.
We will post the teams on this site shortly...
